BWXT Cambridge Expansion Project

BWXT will be breaking ground on an exciting project to further support our customers in Canada and around the world. We will be expanding our manufacturing facility in Cambridge, at 581 Coronation Boulevard, creating a larger footprint, greater capabilities, and more jobs.

Project Highlights:

The BWXT Cambridge Expansion Project will increase the size of the manufacturing facility from 225,000 square feet to 280,000 square feet – that’s 55,000 square feet of additional space.
The project will require approximately 220 contractors to complete.
The expansion will enable the creation of more than 200 local jobs.
Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2024, with completion targeted for the middle of 2026.

The BWXT Cambridge Expansion Project has been planned to allow for continued operations and minimal disruption to the community.
