We contribute to the effectiveness of nuclear energy in powering communities without producing carbon emissions, and we recognize nuclear technology's current and potential influence on modern medicine. We also contribute to a cleaner environment through the environmental cleanup services we provide for U.S. Department of Energy Environmental Management projects.
Our achievements in the Canadian nuclear industry demonstrate how economic and environmental sustainability can be aligned. We have invested in additional nuclear service capabilities to support Ontario as the first jurisdiction in North America to eliminate coal as a source of electricity generation. BWXT's role in Ontario Power Generation's Darlington Refurbishment and Bruce Power's Life Extension Project demonstrate our clean energy commitment.
