Power Your Career

The Community Liaison Committee is a forum for the exchange of information between BWXT and members of the community near our facilities at 1160 Monaghan Road, Peterborough and 1025 Lansdowne Avenue, Toronto. BWXT seeks to learn more about community priorities, interests, and activities and improve how it shares information about work at its Peterborough and Toronto facilities, health and safety initiatives and community activities. CLC members convey questions, discuss concerns and identify opportunities to improve communications and community relations.

Our Toronto Community Liaison Committee was established in 2013, and our Peterborough Community Liaison Committee was established in 2020. Three meetings are held each year in the evenings and new members are provided an orientation session and tour. Meeting records are provided below.

Interested community members and representatives of organizations are invited to apply to join our Community Liaison Committees. Recruitment begins in the fall and new members are accepted at the beginning of the year.
