Local citizens and community organizations are invited to apply to the BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada (BWXT NEC) Community Liaison Committee (CLC). The deadline to apply is December 13, 2019 and new members will be notified in January 2020.

The CLC was established in 2013 and its purpose is to create a forum for the exchange of information between BWXT NEC and members of the community who reside in the vicinity of our facility at 1025 Lansdowne Avenue, Toronto.

The CLC is voluntary, meets four times a year in the evenings, and new members will be provided with an orientation session. Members can bring forward questions, discuss concerns and identify opportunities to improve community relations. BWXT NEC seeks to learn more about community priorities, interests and activities, and improve how BWXT NEC shares information about work at the Lansdowne Avenue facility, health & safety initiatives and community activities.
