BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada’s (BWXT NEC) 2019 Annual Compliance Report to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is now available. The purpose of this report is to demonstrate that BWXT NEC has successfully met the requirements of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act and its Class IB Nuclear Fuel Facility Operating Licence. BWXT NEC holds a 10-year licence which expires December 31, 2020.

BWXT NEC leadership will appear in front of the Commission for an annual review meeting at the end of the year. The meeting is open to members of the public and webcast live on the CNSC’s website. More information about the annual review meeting will be provided on BWXT NEC’s website when it becomes available.
