Toronto Community Liaison Committee

Established in 2013, the Community Liaison Committee (CLC) is a forum for the exchange of information between BWXT NEC and members of the community near the BWXT NEC facility at 1025 Lansdowne Avenue, Toronto. BWXT NEC seeks to learn more about community priorities, interests and activities, and improve how the company shares information about work at its Lansdowne Avenue facility, health & safety initiatives and community activities. CLC members convey questions, discuss concerns and identify opportunities to improve communications and community relations.

Local citizens and community organizations are invited to apply to the BWXT NEC Toronto CLC. The deadline to apply is December 11, 2020 and new members will be notified in January 2021. The application is available here and can be returned via email to questions@bwxt.com.

Peterborough Community Liaison Committee

The Community Liaison Committee (CLC) was established in 2013 at the BWXT NEC Toronto location. A new CLC was established in 2020 at the BWXT NEC Peterborough location. The CLC is a forum for the exchange of information between BWXT NEC and members of the community near the facility at 1160 Monaghan Road, Peterborough. BWXT NEC seeks to learn more about community priorities, interests and activities, and improve how the company shares information about work at its Monaghan Road facility, health & safety initiatives and community activities. CLC members convey questions, discuss concerns and identify opportunities to improve communications and community relations.
