Sprinkler System Alarm at Peterborough Facility, 1160 Monaghan Rd.

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at approximately 10:12 a.m. Peterborough Fire Services responded to a sprinkler system alarm at BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada’s Peterborough plant. A sprinkler head activated, however there was no fire.

There was no health or safety risk posed to the public, employees or the environment.
