BWXT and other licensees will participate in an annual public meeting held by Canada’s nuclear regulator, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).

Each year, BWXT submits an Annual Compliance Report (ACR) to the CNSC with the purpose of demonstrating that BWXT has successfully met the requirements of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act and its Class IB Nuclear Fuel Facility Operating Licence.

At the meeting, CNSC Staff will present the annual Regulatory Oversight Report for BWXT's Class IB Nuclear Fuel Facility Operating Licence.

This meeting is typically scheduled for the end of the year. Recently, the CNSC published a revised notice, outlining the date for this public meeting has been changed to February 26, 2025.
