BWXT Names Thomas E. McCabe as Senior Vice President and General Counsel
(LYNCHBURG, Va. – July 23, 2018) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:BWXT) announced today that Thomas (Tom) E. McCabe has been named senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary for BWXT effective July 23, 2018.

McCabe most recently served as the executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Orbital ATK, Inc., a 13,000-employee, publicly traded company focused on space, defense and aviation. He previously served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Alion Science and Technology Corp., a technology solutions provider for the U.S. Department of Defense and commercial clients. Prior to that position he served with Braintech, Inc. as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. McCabe’s career also includes positions with XM Satellite Radio, COBIS Corporation, several law firms, and what is now AT&T Government Solutions.
McCabe graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in English and went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame Law School where he received his juris doctor degree. He also received a master’s of business administration from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.
