BWXT Names Nate Foote General Manager of Mount Vernon, Indiana, Operations
(MOUNT VERNON, Ind. – Feb. 3, 2020) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:BWXT) announced today that Nate Foote has been named general manager of the BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (BWXT NOG) manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Indiana.
“With more than a decade of experience leading in Mount Vernon and at our other manufacturing sites, Nate is uniquely qualified to serve as our general manager as we continue to grow the business in Indiana,” BWXT NOG President Joel W. Duling said.
Mount Vernon employees manufacture heavy components for naval nuclear reactors used in submarines and aircraft carriers. The site employs about 350 people with plans to grow to 400.
Prior to being named general manager, Foote was deputy general manager and director of operations in Mount Vernon. He also served as the machine shop manager at the BWXT NOG facility in Lynchburg, Virginia, and superintendent of operations and manager of engineering and technical services at the company’s Barberton, Ohio, location.
He earned a Master of Science degree in business administration from Ashland University and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Akron.
