Scott Gray Appointed Executive Vice President, Project & Field Services for Commercial Operations
(CAMBRIDGE, ON. – March 30, 2022) – BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) today announced that it has named Scott Gray to the position of Executive Vice President of Projects & Field Services for BWXT’s Commercial Operations segment (BWXT) effective April 1, 2022.
Gray joined BWXT Canada Ltd. in 2017 as Vice President, Projects and later transitioned to overseeing BWXT Medical Ltd.’s Tc-99m generator commercialization program.
Prior to joining BWXT, Gray held the position of vice president at Westinghouse from 2013 to 2017, where he was responsible for the Diesels d’Ultime Secours (DUS) project, deploying emergency diesel generators at EDF plants in France. Gray was also site vice president and consortium director of the Vogtle Project in the U.S. where he led all aspects of the company’s EPC delivery of the new AP1000® plants for Vogtle Units 3 and 4. Prior to joining Westinghouse, Gray was with The Shaw Group from 2008 to 2013 where he served as site/construction manager for the AP1000 new plant project at Sanmen, China – the first AP1000 plants in the world. Gray also held the position of president, Mycom North America from 2007 to 2008 and leadership roles with Bechtel Communications from 2000 to 2006. From 1980 to 2000, Gray worked in multiple corporate and project-based management roles at Stone & Webster Engineering Corp. where he managed projects related to the full life cycle of nuclear power plants. These projects included new power plant construction and restart programs such as River Bend Station and Browns Ferry, maintenance and modification outages at operating nuclear plants, including Peach Bottom, Salem/Hope Creek and Limerick, and the development and implementation of plant decommissioning, including Maine Yankee.

Gray received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire and has completed graduate coursework in safety organization and management at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. He is also a certified Six Sigma champion and has held a Professional Engineer licence in Louisiana and Florida.
